   We used regular Wirsbo t-stats w/ relays to the pumps. Later, for more control, we wired in a Magic Module, an awesome programmable logic controller from Elk Products. The relays should be only a few bucks and readily available. Not being the electrical guy who designed and wired this, I have just exhausted all my knowledge of it.

   *Jim, Cloud is right. There are many more options in 24-volt T-stats than in 120-volt ones. And 24-volt to 120-volt relays are readily available. If you really want a 120/240-volt programmable, I probably have one laying around. I had to order one up for some odd-ball application and then didn't use it. I agree that they are not easy to find. -David

   *I used taco 007 cartridge circulators with a built in 24 relay. they are pretty inexpensive, and work good. I control them directly with a 24 V thermostat, although I expect to design a more sophisticated control system in the future. If these weren't available I probably would have bought a fan control relay for a forced air furnance to control the circulator.http://www.taco-hvac.com/product.html
