Recently built a four riser stair that’s eliptical on one side, and at the end of the curve, I rounded the corner off the framing a little to transition from base to skirt. This will be some of my first trim work, and I’m wondering how to go about putting in a mahogany skirt board on an increasingly tight radius, and your thoughts on the transition to base, which is on it’s own radius, tighter and in the opposite direction. Any thoughts appreciated greatly. I’ll go first and get dumb out of the way…
