Hi All,
I’m looking for some help and thought you guys would be the ones to ask. I’m doing a new kitchen for a customer and as I’m sure you guys know once you start and get into it the client starts with the add ins. The most recent one is for a new window in Cherry to match the cabinets. The window will be about 3’h and 6’w with an opening window on each end. I was hoping someone could recommend a company that sells quality hardware for the opening windows that I can use with my frames. My client insists on the best so money is not an issue but finding hardware I don’t normally use can be time consuming and I was hoping someone could save me a little search time and recommend something they’ve used in the past or seen used with good results. Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Rick

Are the opening units going to be single hung, or casement, or awning, or sliders, or what?
The Phelps Company http://www.phelpscompany.com make some really high class hardware.
For awning, hopper and casement I'll put my reputation on Whitco hinges http://www.vincentwhitney.com any day. Great hinges.
For weather stripping for windows and doors I start at http://www.conservationtechnology.com. If they don't have it they'll have something that will work as well and are happy to tell you what it is.
Just say NO! to moving truck threads.

Thank you guys for the hardware tips. I was a little vague in my initial post. I and looking for quality hardware for casement style windows. The material is Cherry. The customer likes natural materials. Black soapstone counter tops, cork floors, Cherry cabinets so hardware other than brass would also work well. Perhaps stainless or some kind of black plated finish. Just checking out my options. Cheers,
Rick
