I’m about ready to work on my first slab. I have two tops to make for a customer for check writing stands. The material I have is 3/4″ thick and made by Han stone. I’m tooled up and ready to go, and feel reasonable comfortable.
Has anyone worked this material before and have any tips, techniques, gotchyas etc. that might be useful for a first timer??? If so, I’d appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

You might ask your question at Knots and see what the woodworkers say.
If it is what I think that it is then the WW won't have any idea. That is unless they have also worked with stone. If I am not mistaken it take diamond tooling and "wet processes".AKA "silestone" and the like.I think that this has been discussed in the past and an advanced search will get some info.As far as attaching it, some RTV or construction adhesvie should work.
