With over 18 years in purchasing and material support, I am considering starting a business to support contractors in the procurement of material, scheduling jobs, general liason and provide delivery service to the contractors job site, as well as book keeping. In light of this I am considering purchasing Quicken Master Builder. Does anyone have any feedback on this particular software package? Any recommendations on any other software packages? Finally, would a service like this be of use to the construction trade? Any insight would be appreciated.

A very good idea go for it. If you get your prices are in line and you are able to bring your clients to a wholesale source without a conflict of interest on your part, you will do well.
