that's on FM 101 and 102.5....
it's free too...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!

ROAR.here in NY the stations seem to always change, one Sunday morning my regular classical station went to hard rock, then another hard rock station went to urban dance.
never used it but have been reading how the metal in it can interfere
with cell phone and wifi signals. something to look into
Ok, I'll try not to give you a smart a$$ answer. I'm not sure about "Quiet Rock", but the Journal of Light Construction had an article about sound attenuation and there was a product that used mass-loaded vinyl to stop sound. You can also screw drywall to resilient channels, but the mass-loaded vinyl was supposed to reduce sound the most.
Another possible option is sound dyke board (that goes behind the sheetrock). I've used it successfully to dampen the sound of a piano against an adjacent room.
Quietrock has a website at:

I recall eyeballing it a while ago and recall it was *really* expensive. This is a dim recollection though, so if you do price it out, please post what you find.
Pete
I priced some a month ago, $124.99 4x8 sheet I need a dump truck, baby, to unload my head
Ouch!!Next...
on the website it says the starting price point is 50$ a sheet....which in my neck of the woods is probably 90$ canadian with tax. A double wall would probably be cheaper. It's probably special order too as it seems to be a "boutique" product."I hate quotations. Tell me what you know" Ralph Waldo Emerson
I have used Homasote in a recording studio, a massage therapy room, and a nursery. It is very effective at deadening noise and it's about 18-19 bucks a sheet.
Constructing in metric...
every inch of the way.
that's probably the way to go
