After reading the latest Kitchen/Baths issue, I was giving the electric radiant heat web used under tile some more thought. Would it be possible to use this under kitchen tile countertops? I was thinking that a section of countertop could be warmed to keep food and plates warm – you know, with the holidays, cold weather, and in-laws approaching…
Any experience with the actual heat generation? I know there are many installation options to consider, though if anyone would venture a guess as to temperature range or a way to increase efficiency? Even if it was 70 – 80F, it would feel warm to the touch in my cold house.
Thanks for your thoughts in advance.
