I have a 4’ wide, 3’ high gate I built that closes a walkway between my storage shed and mobile home. It’s affixed to T1-11 siding. I had to put the gate so it closed at the end of the shed wall, but where it hinges from on the mobile does not have a stud behind it. I knew this was going to be a problem eventually and it’s finally happened after a wind storm ripped it loose from the siding where it hinges. The screws that attach it to the wall are barely hanging on. I need to reattach the gate and make it so that it won’t rip loose again. Problem is, I can’t cut the siding open to add another stud behind it and i don’t want it to look jacked up on the outside by doing something on the exterior. I can’t replace/rebuild the gate (that think held up great) and I can’t move the gate to a spot with a stud as it has to end where it is. Any suggestions for how to fix this? I’ve thought of anchors, spray foam with anchors… but I’m not sure that isn’t going to be another temporary fix. Suggestions?

You are going to have to find a way to secure the gate to structural support.
If you cannot find internal support on the mobile home, you might try to sink a post into the ground for support.
Anything short of this will not work.
If you always do, what you always did,
you will always get what you always got.
What is on the inside wall of the mobile home in this area? You may be able to pull a section, build into adequate support, and replace the internal wall covering.
if you have access to the framing inside the shed, flip it around and through bolt it on the shed side.
you could try toggle bolts going into the mobile home side, just need a large enough hole to get the toggle in - spray some expansion foam or at least caulk the toggle holes and you should be set
good luck
