I am re-roofing a small (7 feet by 16 feet)enclosed porch. It has a low slope of about 2/12. It is a shed roof that abuts the back of the house below the main roof, which has its own gutter. The porch is currently unheated and is used primarily for laundry/utility room. What are the options for a DIY-er in terms of roofing material? Also, would be there be much of a point to insulate and /or vent the roof? Future plans may include heating this room. The house is located in Boston, MA.
