Do you mean "use every day" or "everyday use instead of Heavy Duty use"?
There will be alot of mention of Bosch and Milwaukee, but I like the blade holder on the DeWalt. One of the holders in it is nearly flush cut, something none of the other RS have.

For my money, it would have to be the Makita 3070 or a Milwaukee....Check out the Tools Of The Trade magazine website for an article on these and others
Check reviews on E-pinions, Amazon, and of course right here

Milwaukee SuperSawzall.
There's a reason recip saws are generically known as Sawzalls.
The new ones have a vibration reduction system that works well.
Make sure you get the milwaukee super sawzall with Orbital Action. It's like a HumVee
i have maybe 8... all of em work every brand.... but i seem to always reach for my porter cable 9.8 amp one... great quick change and just feels right... i also use a porter cable "tiger cub" it's a smaller recip in line kinda slim fits in tight places ect... nice to have when you need it..

My old PC bit the bullit along time ago but I have the tigercub and like it alot.
Also have both bosches and like them, the smaller one scrolls and the bigger one has the rafter hook and plug in at the back of the saw.
I have 2 cordless and they are not used often they just don't seem to have the umpff needed.

I use a Milwaukee. No complaints. And I beat the hell out of it. I even dropped out of a tree once. 30 feet down. THUD!!!! Cuts even better now. Don't know why!
I'd say Milwaukee, but that's my own bias. I've used a Sawzall (again, the generic name for a reason) from 50ish years ago, still works.
I prefer their quick change to any others I've tried, and they just seem to be the best to me.
I also have a Dewalt I got for free (I never turn down a free tool, even if it is a pile), and a PC Tigerclaw with the articulating head. I have a love/hate relationship with it. In certain situations, it's the only tool that can make the cut. For most situations, I hate the damn thing.
I wish Milwaukee would throw a switch to go from a 3/4" stroke to 1"+. I could definitely use that feature.
For out and out heavy demo, you can't beat the PC. We have three and they won't die even in days of constant cutting up to 8x12
but the Milwau gets high scores with me too. much smoother - less vibration

My tiger saw was stolen and it was my favorite but i have a Milwaukee supersawsall thats almost as good, I still use my 50s Milwaukee too, I also have a cheap Black and decker battery sawsall, I found if i put a metal blade in the battery one i can cut nails keep a sharp wood blade in the supersawsall and a long blade in the metal 50s one im not changing blades all the time, When they stole my tiger saw they left my Black and decker laying right next to it, Even Thiefs wont steal it, I love it though for one cut, With a pruning blade i trim my small trees
