I’ve been framing up my first roof. It has been a really interesting challenge and because I’m a dork that loves angles, I think I want to do more roofs. What books do you recommend? After doing this roof, I know there’s a lot more for me to learn, especially with respect to tying in a blind valley. I like to be able to do the math to figure out the angles, but in practice, I prefer math-free techniques of laying out and cutting framing.
Thanks in advance for your tips!

Most any treatise on the Framing Square.
Stanley used to provide a small handbook with their squares.
A Roof Cutters Secrets. by Will Holliday
Roof Framing. by Marshall Gross
And a must if you can find.....
Complete Title: Audels Carpenters and Builders Guide. A practical illustrated trade assistant on modern construction for carpenters, joiners, builders, mechanics and all wood workers.
A good book to buy is from Will Holladay, "A Roof Cutter's Secrets". Covers a ton of stuff about roof framing. Lots of pictures, drawings and more.
