Just signed a job to do some hang and finish, drywall. Figure its time to get a banjo, they all seem bascially the same ,put mud and tape in the box start spreading.
Question is what brand.
I’am not a sheetrocker, but have a fair amount of jobs that require mud and tape, and I’am in the process of doing my basement. So figure its time for a new tool.
Also is their a attachment for doing inside corners.

Iffin ya cain't spell it, don't eat it
Get the dry tape variety.
I had a wet tape banjo, and it was a PITA.
Gave it to a neighbor I didn't care for.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between dry tape and wet tape.
In a wet tape banjo the mud is dumped in with the spool of paper tape. The whole role get compound all over it. The tight fit of the sides are suppose to keep the mud off the sides of the role, but it not very good at it. When you finish for the day, and start to clean the banjo out, the remaining tape is a mess.
In a dry tape banjo, the tape is in a seperate chamber from the mud. The tape picks up the mud as it is pulled through the wet chamber. Less waste of both tape and joint compound at the end of the day.
