My 60 yr. old house outside of Boston sheds paint in pieces large and small all the way down to bare wood.
From what I’ve read, I would guess this is moisture working its way from inside the house out, and when I check I suspect I’ll find that the clapboard hasn’t been back primed. (Some one tried stuffing screening under a few clapboards to let the wall breath but to no avail.)
If in fact the clapboards are bare backed, is my only option residing? And if so, should I wrap the house?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
