Hi all-
Town has recycled asphalt (milled pavement) available for a few dollars a load following large road reconstruction project. Is this suitable for use underneath large paver patio w/ compaction as the base material, as opposed to crushed rock/ CR-6? It had worries about drainage etc if the mix was rich but it appears heavier on the stone than the asphalt. The pavement is always more fluid than the base so this had me concerned as well, but in this application the pressure/weight requirements are not as critical as something carrying vehicle traffic.
Thanks. . .

I think the main problem you'd have with it is that it won't compact easily due to the asphalt content.
