Red birch stair treads source

Anybody know a source for these?  Red birch is not a species, but in fact the heartwood of yellow birch.

I am being quoted prices that start at $75 each for 4-foot lengths of 1-1/16 x 11 1/2 treads, one edge full bullnose.

Seems high to me, but hey, what do I know?  I’ve only bought stair treads in red and white oak.
