I need everyones help here. My front concrete steps look horrible and wife is complaining. Need to reface concrete decorative block with stone veneer or slate tiles. This block is from the 50’s and is not even. How to I get a flat surface for the refacing and could I venner right over the concrete. Any help would be appreciated

They got everything you need - but maybe the experience.
My mother-in-law just had her front porch and steps resurfaced by a concrete "stamping" outfit. They cleaned up the porch & steps and laid a 1/2" layer of some "witch's brew" of colored concrete. Then they pressed molds into it to make it look like stone. Actually, they did a darned good job, leveled the porch, filled the sag, and put in a slight slope to direct water away from the house and it looked really good. Check the phone book for decorative concrete or concrete stamping. Good luck
