Im trying to locate some removable window grills for a bunch of windows that I have no idea who the manufacturer was? Anyone have any good sources that I could just call and give my dimensions to? Profiles are not really that important, since no windows in the house have them, I don’t have to worry about matching anything.
Also, if I decide to make them, does anyone have any advice or ideas for making the joints where the horizontal and vertical bars cross. Is there a special router bit set that would make this easier for me on my router table.Me plan was to rip stock to desired width, joint edges, plane to desired thickness, then mill profile on each side on router table, then figure out how to make that funky joint where they cross[insert ideas here!] Time and labor are not a factor, as these are on my on house.

Go to Google and try "custom+window+grilles"1
Kidd & Co. look to be able to produce what you need.
If you want to make your own...check out "Freud' or "Rockler" for a wide assortment of router bits. I don't remember seeing one that would work, check it out anyway.
The bits used for doing muntins in windows are usually specialized as per manufacturer and may be available through custom industrial suppliers ($$$$$)!
You might consider looking at a local supplier of window for what is available to order from their windoe mfg. and then cut those down/modify to fit your needs.
On rare occasion I have had to make/modify an existing set of grills/muntins and found that my best friend was a sharp fine toothed coping saw and a fresh utility knife blade. But I was only one or two!
I can't imagine the time and labor and FRUSTRATION that would be involved with making a whole house full of fake window muntins!!!!
