i put unit in the title because it is one of those all-in-one tub, surround and ceiling (with light) monsters.
it’s bigger than the door opening, so it has to be dismantled/demolished.

Last one we did - brought in the 18yold high school drop out - handed him a sledge, a sawzall and a grinder with a zip blade. Mind you this one was sheetmetal. Took him an hour.
Cut into pcs smaller enough to handle.
Watch your plumbing, don't cut it. Shut off water, take off escutions, handles etc.
Beware of ingenious plumbers that ran supplies to bath on opposite side (ran under/over the tub top in the recess).
