Because of forces outside my control, I ended up installing all the cherry trim on my current project prior to painting. All the trim has three coats of polyurethane. 150′ of baseboard alone. . . ’twas a lot of masking.
Although I tried to be fastidious with my masking, I know that there are some points where paint crept under the tape. I feel I did OK on the whole, but I’m going to have to fix some of these boo-boos.
Scrape it? Sanding sponge, then touch-up with poly? Any other ideas?

Goof-Off is a miracle in a bottle. Won't adversly affect the cured poly, but will lift dried latex paint from it.

Seriously Folks, I need a home for 3 lovers of your life.
What Sphere says.
Next time use frosted transparent tape on the trim, then blue stuff over it.
1) As said: "Goof-Off".
2) Primer can be tough, but often latex that hasn't been on long can be removed from a shiny surface with a plastic pot-scrubber before you use the Goof-Off to clean the details. We use Goof-Off on Q-tips, orange sticks, and dental picks on fine details - it's not as labourious as it sounds.

Great - awesome, thanks!
I don't think I have too much in the way of primer on the wood, but I have yet to unmask everything. I'm just about the roll the last of the first coat.
It just occurred to me that this master bedroom suite is about the same size and complexity as the main floor of my house. It's not a McMansion or anything. My house is just really small. Still, this thing is a chunk of work.
Take your time. There are no awards given for getting done ahead of schedule in your own house.
There's just the DW telling you that it looks like h*ll otherwise.
It's not my house - just the size of my house! :-D
Save yourself some money, goof off is 95% xylol and xylol is much cheaper
Use the xylol (xylene), a flex putty knife and a rag to cut a straight line on your moulding or just the rag to clean drips. won't harm the finish
Painters have used it for years
