Hi All,
I have a job that willentail removing and replacing some concrete spanish roof tiles. The “S” shaped so typical here in SoCal. They about 18″ square. The tiles in question are in the middle of a run but on the edge. One is already loose, but the rest are nailed down with one nail at the top and of course this is covered by an overlapping tile.
How does one get to the nail? Anothe tissue is this job is right in front-North facing- and all the tiles are pretty well weathered-but quite sound-and the same color. Anywhere else they show another color as do brand new ones so I need to get them on and off unbroken to make the HO happy.
Thanks,
W

Go here to see a shingle ripper. You should be able to buy one locally. Use this to pull or cut the nails. On the top course you have to replace, you'll need to hang the tile from a copper (or other metal) strap.
