Watching “This Old House” today and saw something I had never seen. Instead of using a wet sponge, this guy spread saw dust on the floor, rubbed it around the proceeded to sweep it up with his broom. Clean as a whistle.
Prior to that he had sprinkled dry grout mix on the floor and rubbed it in. He said that he used this method (dry grout and saw dust) for wider grout joints.
True, I’m not a tile guy.
