I have an old bathtub (27 years)made with a pan, twoinches of cement supporting 1×1 tiles. Because of the age, the tub is now leaking. I used an acrylic with silicon caulk on the seams (inside angles where the walls meet and where the walls meet the floor). Is this a good stop gap, and what should I plan on doing short of total removal and rebuild? Would it be better to grout the junctures, or use a thoroseal except that may be too ridgid? Any suggestions?
