Need to replace about 10′ of oak flooring. Job is to small for a nailer. All nailing will be by hand..predrilled, nailed and set. What type of nail would be best suited for the job?
Thanks

Paul,
I always stick with the same flooring nails the guns use. Predrill through the tongue on a slight angle and hand nail away. So long as you hit the portion of the head directly in line with the nail itself, you shouldn`t bend too many. Use a properly sized nail set to sink them. I typically start using the set before the nail is too close to the wood.....less chance of leaving marks that might not sand out during finishing. Don`t rush it....the flooring will be there for years and years if done properly.
All the best,
Jay
