Repairing scratches in a wood floor

I recently installed an engineered wood floor in our kitchen (prefinished, glued and floating). The surface is oak, approximately 3/16″, glued to a plywood base for a total thickness of 3/4″. The finish is aluminum oxide in an acrylic base, I think.
I moved our refrigerator back into place and managed to scratch and gouge the floor in several places. It bugs the heck out of me. Any suggestions on how I can go about “spot” refinishing (sanding out the scratches, and etc.)? The finish is slightly grainy in texture and feel (I suppose this is the aluminum.) in contrast to a smooth finish (Swedish finish).

Romlee,
Some of these floors have repair kits available. Check with your supplier.
