About a year ago, I purchased a 2-year old house (wood frame, stucco exterior) that has 5 sliding glass doors. The door frames are plastic, and have begun to warp. The corners have pulled outward as much as a quarter inch, and the doors are getting hard to open. The frame apears to be nailed pretty securely, and I can’t force the frame back into position by pushing on it. I don’t know the manufacturer of the doors or I’d contact them for a warrenty repair (no labels – now I know why). Other than replacing the doors (won’t use plastic frames again), is there any way to fix the problem? Thanks for any helpful advice.
