If the windows are vinyl I don't think you are supposed to leave the storm windows on.
Too much heat buildup between the windows.
What's wrong with me? I could ask you the exact same thing.
Thanks thats very good to know.
As for pricing nobody here knows how much you need to make per hour to pay your bills. Figure out about how long it will take you to do each window then price it accordingly. What's wrong with me? I could ask you the exact same thing.
Get some bids from others companies. Thats a good start.
When I've done it myself. Found a double hung removal and reinstall of a vinyl window and trimout was under an hour a window.
You'll will be amazed at the high bids you will get.
$125 per opening to pull old, insulate and install new up to 101 UI...more inches=more dollars. , $45 exterior wrap(standard brickmold) Haul old debris clean and caulk inside(no trim....but if you size and order windows right, you should have less than 1/8" inside anyway...silicon bead.
Windows are GOOOOOD money.

I agree.
A few years back I worked for a company, and we only installed windows. Drove a 14' box van with the brake set up in back. 2 of us could install 20+ windows a day. The company billed around the same rates as you. Pretty sure it ended up around $140/ unit with aluminum coverage. Extra $10/ unit for hauling away the old units.
The problem is competing with all of the big boxes, and small vinyl window factories. In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey.
