Marvin Integrity is fiberglass with wood interior. Reasonably good thermal performance. But it is whole window replacement, not an insert.

Do you mean so-caled "replacement" windows where the sash are replaced by an insert, or are you talking about replacing everything: exterior casings, sills, etc.?
Al Mollitor, Sharon MA
i'm thinking that an insert would be the easiest way to go. thanks for response.
I've put in a couple of Caradco brand replacements with wood interiors. I believe they call them "Zap Packs".
The wood was good quality. They took stain well and matched the old woodwork in the house O.K.
The quality was average or better for replacement windows.

thanks for the advice
Renewal by Andersen, if they are available in your area.
If your customer wants a sash only replacement, i'd go for Marvin TiltPacs.
They're available to fit just about any opening, and also can be gotten with a clad exterior for lower maintenance.
you guys are a great resource.
thanks
