I have a customer that wants replacement windows. This is not my usual scope of work but I’m confident I can handle it. My question is which window? I’m looking at
Anderson Woodwright insert
Marvin ultimate insert
Pella precision fit insert
any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

My only experience with these has been repairs. I've not had any trouble getting parts for Andersen windows, even some 20+ years old. Pella is a different matter; by the time something breaks, they don't make it anymore. No experience with Marvin.

It would be a lot easier to suggest a plan of attack if we had more information. So fill in your profile and tell us the location of the house, it's age and style and what price range your client is interested in
For example, a 1950's stucco ranch development home in Los Angeles would help define a particular type of replacement window, one that any number of us have installed and can recommend. Get the idea?
you cant go wrong with any of those. I like Peachtree windows so you might want to look at em http://www.peach99.com. other than that its a matter of style and cost for the customer.
I am a Marvin guy myself. If money was no object, I would choose the Marvin Ultimate DH insert windows. They look beautiful and operate flawlessly. One step down would be the DH tilt pacs. They look great and operate well but they can be difficult to tilt for an older person. Then there is the 100% fiberglass windows that Marvin spearheaded, Infinity. You will see a beaded, finished edge on the interior sash and a lot more glass area because the stiles and rails are thinner than the typical builder's vinyl window.
