Replacing Forced Air Heating System
Has anyone replaced a forced air heating system in a home with an hydronic system using a combination gas boiler to provide both central heating and DHW? It appears to be a big job, but the resulting benefits might make it worthwhile.

What's the style of the house, ranch, cape, other..... have a basement, finished or unfinished?
The house is a 2400 Sqf, split level.
I would also be interested in comments regarding the acceptability of the use of wall-hung radiators versus base board heaters or under floor heating.
Thanks for replying.
The best heat is the under floor and is never in the way, Cast iron radiators or base board give a slow even heat but skirt the outer walls of the room. Copper base reacts faster but is also in the way. Wall hung work well but do cover a section of wall.
This can be involved but access is the key. If all your under floor areas are accessable then with modern materials this could be quickish to install. Best thing is you get an even heat across the room and this reduces air movement which leads to faster heat loss. Much like you feel with blown hot air.
Wall hung panels are used all over europe. By the way.
