It’s gone, Most was picked up by Pat from ST. Paul he runs a high end cabinet shop and he has a uses I never thought of. It seems he’s had to pay to slice inch thick maple boards in half for drawers, and it’s simple matter of running these thru the planner a few times to wind up at finished thickness..
In addition he left on Friday with his truck on the bump stops and headlights looking for squirrels filed with Cherry. He uses thin cherry with a duplicarver to make various “carvings” such as eagles, grapevines, cherubs, and various moldings. With the 3/4 or 1/2 inch thick pieces, he doesn’t have to turn quite so much wood into woodchips.. so he spends much less time
Sunday morning he was here bright and early loading up on Maple… again the truck was a tad on the overloaded side..
a few others showed up on Saturday with much more modest ambitions and left with only a couple hundred feet (if that) I did have few no-shows but I suppose it was a busy weekend…
Darn it, nobody showed me how to post pictures!
