I’m reroofing a house with an insulated vaulted ceiling, the old shingles weren’t that old and very damaged, curled and broken. The eaves have vents but there is no escape at the ridge. I’m thinking the roof got too hot and needs a ridge vent to keep it cool. However, I have never installed ridge vent. We purchased some cor-vent, anyone have installation tips? Additionally any tips for vent flashings would be appreciated.
