Ok here is the current status. I got names from the supplier. Had several come out give opinion (actually 3) Two of the three said “use cobblestone” third said not good for the concrete wall systems cause the drive way has slight curve to the slope and without lowering the culvert wouldn’t work well. Two of them agreed to do the job with the wall systems I had chosen if I really wanted them to.

Got opinions of two stone masons, difference in price about 2 to 1 ( first $1700, second $3300) I took the second; I have known of him for several years has a “yard” with examples been there at least 6 years. I am waiting for work to begin next week.
