‘>’My current clients want to reuse their existing seven year old LP siding on a small (4×13’) bumpout gable end addition. Should I be concerned about interweaving old LP siding with new LP siding? The old is in good condition but has the rounded drip edge, the new has a square drip edge. Any feedback would help.

This is a call back waiting to happen!
That old LP siding is going to cause serious problems in the near future, and you will surely get the blame. The stuff will start coming apart, and the clients will blame you for "improper installation". This stuff has a serious history of problems, and I would highly recommend that you toss it. Convincing the clients of this will be a tough sell, but not nearly as tough as having to come back and do a free replacement for them.
If nothing else, get them to sign a waiver of sorts stating that this product has problems, and you won't be responsible for replacing it once it starts coming apart. This may or may not bring them to their senses.

*Ditto previous posts. A back issue of FHB (can't recall which one) mentioned a class action suit over Innerseal siding. Maybe it would be wise to check it out thoroughly before you go ahead.
*To my understanding, HUNDREDS of millions of dollars have been paid out in claims against that stuff. Around here, they are offering discounts for quick settlements and everything. Nothing I would want to have anything to do with. - jb
