OK, it is redesign time for the mainfloor bathroom. Here is the plan as drawn. The bathroom is at upper L
Room size is 7/0 w x 12/5 d, and the desired outcome is:
- Lose the tub, the neo-angle shower, and one of the lav sinks.
- Do a ceramic tile baffled (no door) shower at the end, a nice big 7/0 wide affair, with a glassblock window in it.
Any and all design submittals are appreciated.

put the toliet where the tub is and the tub where the toliet is. get rid of the octgon in the kitcern and have straight lines.
The octagon kitchen actually provides you with that additinal little pantry closet and elimnates dead corners on the counter. I like that uniqueness of the kitchen. As to the glass block option, make it a special glass block so it doesn't remind you of someone's basement window.
Sounds like you already know what you want to do. I would put the shower where the tub is now and make it bigger, so it would take up additional space where the one lav and the toilet are now. Then move the toilet so it's across from the other lav and put the cabinet (?) that's to the right of the door as you enter where the old shower is.
I would definitely ditch the separate shower stall and either replace the tub with a walk-in shower - or do a combination tub/shower if you just gotta have a tub.
Slide the double sink/vanity down to where the shower used to be, and replace that swinging door with a pocket door that slides into the closet wall.
This plan would probably require minimal plumbing re-work. I really like pocket doors in bathrooms. You get to use some of the floor space for something besides room for a door to open & close.
