Hi,
Some years ago I installed a ridge and soffit vents. Shortly thereafter I read in an issue of FHB that upon installing a ridge vent that you should cover any gable vents. I followed this advice and guess that it may have enhanced the flow of air.
My son has recently bought a colonial and wants me to help him install a ridge vent.
I’m seeking opinions and wisdom about covering the gable vents after installing a ridge and soffit vents.
TIA
