Recently, I installed a ridge vent on a saltbox style building. Just before we put it in the someone asked how effective is a ridge vent in snow country. It seems that if the snow sticks to the roof it can plug up the vent. I’ve seen a bunch installed in Anchorage but they don’t get as much snow. Any input would be appreciated
