Warnings to anyone contemplating large use of GREAT STUFF foam.
Before I got my new HANDI-FOAM kit
I had used about 20 cans of GS., I had a new supply of 10 cans still around, and rather than tap into the big rig, I thought I’d use up the GS.
Out of 10, 4 were useless, either the valve snapped off, or just no go at all..that is not a good record.
I was up pretty high on a laddder and belive me, it really sucks to monkey down, get another can and have another failure.
Any one using mass q’s of foam needs this kit. I will never trust GS again.

I've found GS to have a limited shelf life... and in general I've always said "Great Stuff ain't that great". It does have it's uses though... like if you had a cabin in the woods with about as much leakage in the building envelope as a piece of Swiss cheese ;-)
You are far braver than I...
Pick it up anywhere?

I use Touch and Foam...works great but ever try and get it off your hands??? You need to use up the whole can...has zero shelf life.

They used to pack lousey gloves that make you THINK yer safe, before ya realized how much they suck and tear..now I buy the blue nitril gloves...awesome. When we are seriously caulking w/ geocel, or brushing it..they are the bee's kneee's.

go to farmtek and on the left is a catagory for building material click there and it comes up.
I found it. My error for searching by a goofy name rather than the actual name.

hate that GS stuff! So sticky, no matter how hard i try, i always seem to get some all stuck in my arm hair! OUch, talk about pain getting out----
I agree on the super short shelf life, I had half a case bad one time, and if was only 2 months old.
The white latex stuff only lasts about 6 months or so too. When in doubt, get a bigger hammer!
