Greetings all,
I’m selling a house that I previously suspected was sided with asbestos. But after some research, I had backed off that theory.
Over the weekend I found a box of the shingles tucked away in the cellar. The box says “Rock shakes”, leading me to believe these shingles are some sort of cement or mineral siding.
Anyone know specifically what rock shakes are?
Thanks

So called abestos shingles are exactly that. Cement and minerals.
But that does not mean that what you have does have absetos. Probabably the only way to know is to have them tested.
