Any good roll on/brush roof sealnt/coating stuff? I need to streach the life of a low pitch dormer roof on my Mom’s house.
When spring comes what is the best roofing method for roofing a low pitch a dormer roof. Is this somthing I can do my self? (I can lay tabs, I don’t like it but I can do it).

The dormers I built at home are not much more than a 2:12. Put down peel and stick ice shield, 4ply layer of 15# felt and shingle with reduced exposure. 3 years and all's well.
Let's not confuse the issue with facts!
henry's #107, assuming presently roll or built up roof for 2:12
If all you want to do is get thru the winter into spring (for a correct replacement), then either "roof-over" with some rolled on roofing or get some big pails of the rubberized roofing tar and roll it on.
IF it's truly only for four or five months? Personally, I'd go with a tarp!
Cheap, re-usable, and totally effective.
(That's what I'm doin on a project of mine and I live in one of the rainiest cities in the U.S.)
