*My house is 80 years old and the crawl space has no ventillation. The joists in the living room are shot and from the limited view that can be obtained, their are some missing in the dining room. We cut a trap door in the living room but access to the crawl is still quite limited. We have been kicking around the idea of filling in the area between joists with gravel as well as we can and then filling the rest of the space with concrete. This house sits on solid rock for the most part. I am skeptical of this concrete thing but my fiance gives me the "you're a dumb girl look." Help!!!
*Concrete will suck the moisture out of the framing in no time. If you think the wood is shot now, you ain't seen nothin'.
*Thanks Jeff, my gut told me something was wrong with that picture.
