I was just given 200+ board feet of quartersawn Oak and I am going to be turning it into rails and stiles on some panel doors. The only thing I am worried about is dealing with tearout on the wood.
details on the wood, 3/4″ x 3″ x different lengths mostly longer than 3′
Question: What brand of router bits would you recommend? Which are better?

Edited to add: I will be posting over on Knots as well.

congrats..it is not the brand of bit as much as technique..reading the grain is very important..
Whiteside makes good stile and rail set.
if you are well versed and have good equipment..it should be no problem. Avoid climb cutting if ya don't have a good handle on what you are doing.

Jesada makes some good stile/rail sets.
We presume you have a variable speed router, 3HP, and a good table and fence, with dust collection. You'll want all that.
If you are missing any of these, spend some of the $1000 or so you saved on wood.
You must have missed the other thread.
It appears that Jesada is out of business.
Their website seems to be alive and well. But if they are gone, I am sorry about their demise. The bits I got from them are excellent.
I agree with SPHERE on the Whiteside bits... I have tried and do use many others. The Whiteside bits I have seem to stay sharp longer than any other. I also like the bits I get from Grizzly... they have an industrial grade bit that is very good, as well as their regular bits.
I'd also suggest a 3hp dedicated router (I use a PC) in a beefy router table. I have made up a few "feather boards" that use skateboard wheels to keep the wood in position for pushing it through the rig... works great.
