I teach a high school building trades class, and glasses are required to meet ANSI Z.87.1 standards. A student showed up with a pair labeled Z.94.3. Is this a newer, tougher standard? Does it offer the same protection as the Z.87.1 glasses? Thanks for your help.

Hello Bruce,
E-mail ANSI at [email protected]
You can ask them about these specs, and what they mean.
P.S. Next time leave your e-mail address when you sign in. I could have e-mailed some info to you about all this. Too much info to list here.
