I have about 1200 sq ft of salvaged 3/4″X3″ oak and pine flooring. It is in very good condition. I wanted to put it in a new home, but after reading different views on hydronic heat I am afraid it might not be a good idea to use it over warm floors. Does anyone have any ideas how this might be made to work acceptably? I have seen the floating systems. Can the clips be adapted to salvaged materials?
