Hey folks,
Some of my fellow carpenters have suggested to me in the past that cutting SPF 2by lumber is too hard on a good tablesaw/chopsaw blade, but cutting MDF or hardwood is fine. Why is this? Does it have to do with the grade of wood, or maybe the resin in the wood?
