Was sorta watching the boys next door, they’re setting rafters finally. They had their scaffold set so the ridge was navel high. Have never seen anyone do it that high before…stepping over top rafters?

Tiz,
I usually set it so my head is even with the top of the ridge. Maybe a couple inches taller. I don't like to crouch and walk the scaffolding when nailing rafters off.
Thats nuts.I,m with Tim Muhler and set myself up about head high. Then you don't have to crouch or drag your bags over rafters.
bag draggers get slivers

Hehee, bagdragger-been there!
I don't know but the more I watch those guys,it kinda makes sense at their scaffold hgt. Seems somone forgot about the LVL ridge that was left out:sawzall. Top of the hip rafter laying up on ridge, guy sawzalling it[?]. All the hips are no-tailed[?], gonna be fun scabing a tail on. If they need collar ties or hangers, they'll be on their back.
I didn't do it....the buck does NOT stop here.
