Where I work there is a lot of calcium in the water. This leaves a lot of scale and water spots on everything. Just wondering if anyone has heard of used the “Scalehammer”. Google it to get to their www.scalehammer.com website. Suppose to reduce scale on hot water tanks, pipes, etc. The fact that their Canadian dealer is Canadian Tire makes me very sceptical. I find they consistently deal with inferior products. Cost is $300cdn. If it actually worked it would be cheap for protecting my hot water tanks (4 in series for hockey arena’s zamboni water). Anyone have advice…

I think a water softener might be in your future. That scalehammer sounds like a scamhammer to me.
Another thing this scalehammer sounds like is the magnets you put on the fuel line to get better gas mileage. Canadian tire probably sells those too.
