Rain.
Been putting it off for years.
When I took on the old place there was so much expedient stuff to do to keep the condemned sticker off the door I just put down rolled roofing over the old and have milked it with roofing tars for all I could get.
Now it's time where there's little choice in the matter.
I gotta pay the piper, tear it off down to the old sheathing boards made from the old railroad cars from so many years ago, lay down some ply over it and rebuild the exposed chimney where the intersection of this low-sloped el meets the old mainroof.
Man, I don't like this.
be half tempted to lose the roar

RickO ,
I used to distribute or sell Schuler cabinets , it's been about 13 or 14 years since then . Then the quality was middle of the road , good service and a decent lead time . At that time they were made in Oregon I think Salem . I bought from a company named "Total Building Supply "also in Oregon .
As a cabinet maker myself trying to augment my income then , after a while I was embarrassed to install the modulars , so thin and little structural integrity compared to my own custom work .
Several jobs we used the then Euro line they had which was mfg in Canada , this line was better quality wise than the Schuler built line .
As far as modular cabinets go , there certainly are more high end better quality out there for a price .
hope this helps dusty
