Schuler Grand Traditions, Cambridge model
Wow I did a search and found no entries on this cabinet maker.
We have an opportunity to purchase brand new in the box complete all wood cabinets with Maple finish (13 total pieces) at a bargain price. They have all the bells and whistles as far as hinges and hardware are concerned. Custom corner lazy susan base. (our neighbors purchased them, didn’t like the maple and went and purchased the exact set in oak.)
Since we are redesigning our whole kitchen, finding a spot for them will not be an issue.
However, it is not enough to complete our kitchen, we need 10 more.
We can pick up the whole package (theirs and the additional 10 for $9k)
The only draw back it is not the style we would have chosen, but its not at all “ugly”
We wouldn’t be unhappy especially if you guys think this is a good deal.
Yay or nay?
{edit} I also forgot to mention these are available “exclusively through the big box”
but they have their own website http://www.schulercabinetry.com/story.aspx

So, are these considered midrange?
If it's a bargain and you're happy with them then hey, no problem.

We were told they were best available (at the big box).

have no personal experience but in threads past on this board they have been held in high regard
I'll be looking at them for my own home remodel
