Does anyone have any favorite products or systems for screened enclosure of a porch? We’ve already designed the porch boundary elements (roof extension, soffits, posts, sills) and need a decent quality infill product to close things off.
Probably vinyl or metal frames, unless someone knows of an affordable & competitive wood product

I did one on a hundred y.o. house that had a rail and ballusters. Applied stops to the top of the rail and the posts to rcv. aluminum screened inserts. Same set up below the rail. Homowner wanted them removable in the winter so we screwed the interior stops. Didn't change the look of the old house from the road but did keep the bugs at bay. Left about 3/8" open at the bottom for rain drain.
Here is a pic of some not usual porch applications. The nice thing about the screening is that it is installed like a screen insert only the vinyl spline that holds the screen is inserted in a groove cut in the posts. Easy to install, and easy to replace. With a dog and some cats I used some salvaged glass block to keep the lower light coming in and no damage from the animals. Casts a nice light in the evening and it got rid of those damn boxes of block I had stored for 15 years. Maybe you won't like it, but it's something to consider. Best of luck on that porch.
