Due to the hurricanes that we had here in S. Louisiana they are going to start enforcing some new rules. The main one that I’m concerned about is that we will have to start screwing the roof sheathing down.
So, what is going to be the quickest way to do this?
I’m sure someone has already come up with the best solution. I just need to find it.
And also, How much (if any) should I go up on my price?

Get yourself some self feeding screewguns, at least one with an extention and another without. You probably won't get along as fast as a nailgun, but with some practice you'll be amazed at how fast you can screew down roof sheathing.

QuickDrive (sp?) is one popular brand of autofeed screw gun. They have them at amazon.com. This probably goes without saying but forget about any kind of battery operated tool.
Question for others like Ralph W. : Do other hurricane prone areas like FLA really screw the roof decking down, or do they just have a more rigorous nailing schedule?
